After years spent wistfully watching TV coverage from the sofa, 2017 is the year when Andrew will finally make his Glastonbury – and Worthy FM – debut. This won’t be his first experience of festival broadcasting however, having worked with Radio WOMAD alongside Steve Satan. And this is actually his second visit to Worthy Farm, having interviewed Michael Eavis for Bristol Community FM a few years ago – a thoroughly enjoyable hour sat in his kitchen, hearing about Marc Bolan attempting to drive his velvet-covered Cadillac through deepest Pilton for the very first festival, and the fascinating fact that links JFK, Elvis, John Peel and Michael’s milking shed. He’s been a regular presenter/producer with BCFM since 2009, and splits the rest of his time between freelance communication work and introducing his two young children to the joys of Radiohead. Everything comes full circle this Summer.
